We are delighted to welcome our new chef, Damian Clisby. Since early November 2009, Damian has been at the helm as Executive Chef at both Cotswold House Hotel and our sister property, The Noel Arms, also in Chipping Campden.
Damian oversees the excellent food and beverage offering in both hotels, including Juliana's fine dining at Cotswold House, the informal Hicks’ Brasserie, as well as the restaurant and coffee shop at Noel Arms.His plans are to build on the hotels' excellent reputations.
Damian joins the hotel from his previous position of Executive Chef at the 77-bedroom FJB Haven Hotel in Sandbanks near Poole, which he held since December 2007. Prior to that he was Head Chef with Caprice Holdings Ltd’s Rivington Grill Restaurants in Shoreditch and Greenwich, and Head Chef Langar Hall Country House Hotel in Nottinghamshire (winner of ‘Best Out of Town Menu at the Nottingham Restaurant Awards’). He has also worked at such acclaimed restaurants as the two Michelin-starred Pied à Terre, J.Sheekey, Putney Bridge and the Riverside Brasserie in Bray.
