Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford are famous the world over for antiques, especially English oak and walnut pieces, but both are well stocked with galleries, boutiques, interiors shops and plenty of pubs and cafes for refuelling your tank. You'll find great shops too in Cheltenham, Stratford on Avon, Moreton-in-Marsh, Cirencester, Broadway, Tetbury, and Woodstock.
