DINNER: A Wine Lovers’ Tour of France

Explore some of the best wine regions of France over a four-course meal. After an aperitif in Alsace, we travel down to Chablis for the first course, and then across to Bordeaux and Chateau Haut Batailley 2004 to accompany the main course. With cheese, we have a stunning Lirac from the Southern Rhone and for dessert, Chateau De Malle Sauternes 2005. Your tour guide for the journey is Charlie Bennett of Bennetts’ Fine Wines. France in a glass without crossing the Channel.

Time: 7 for 7.30pm

LUNCH: Virginia McKenna OBE

Best-known for her role as Joy Adamson in the film Born Free, Virginia McKenna has been a leading actress since the 1950s. She set up Zoo Check in 1984 with her late husband, Bill Travers, and eldest son, Will, and the charity became the Born Free Foundation. She’ll be talking about her leading role as in the conservation and animal welfare movement, and her continuing acting career including film and TV.

Time: 12 for 12.30pm

DINNER: Four Chefs' Dinner

A unique opportunity to experience the superb cooking of four acclaimed chefs: our own Damian Clisby, Lee Streeton of Brown's Hotel, James Golding of Le Caprice and Whitley Ridge Hotel in the New Forest, and the multi-award-winning chef, columnist and Tatler Restaurateur of the Year 2009 Mark Hix. Join them as they pit their skills against each other in a (friendly) cook-off! One chef takes one course – and you can be the judge in what promises to be an exceptional gourmet evening. LUNCH: Patrick Gale

As part of the Campden Literature Festival, we welcome novelist Patrick Gale, whose novel, Notes from an Exhibition, was a Richard and Judy Book Club Best Read. He now has a very loyal following of fans absorbed by his insightful writing. He’ll be talking about his career and success, and reading from Gentlemen’s Relish, his new collection of short stories.

Time: 12 for 12.30pm
Tickets: £25 per person for a two-course meal including wine. (Book not included.)

WINE DINNER: Burgundy – Maison Joseph Drouhin

For the last 130 years, this acclaimed Burgundy house has been in the hands of the Drouhin family, who are inspired by the same passion to produce great wines. Having recently adopted a biodynamic approach to viticulture, the wines are better than ever. We'll taste a comprehensive range of wines accompanied by a complementary menu.

Spa Day and Make-Over

Everyone needs some TLC and some Me-time every now and then. Our pampering Temple Spa day includes advice on "skin, spa and soul therapy" (are you sure your routine is still the right one for you?). The day begins with coffee, and includes a two-course Spa lunch with a glass of wine and special product offers, and you'll leave with a goody bag, discount voucher and feeling revived.

LUNCH: Chris Beardshaw

Chris is a very familiar figure to gardening enthusiasts – he presents Wild About Your Garden,  Gardener’s World, The Flying Gardener and Hidden Gardens. He is also a regular on the Gardener’s Question Time Panel on Radio 4. He has 6 RHS gold medals under his belt, was five times winner of the RHS Best in Show Award and has been The People’s Choice at the Chelsea Show Garden twice. He’ll have shaken the soil of Chelsea off his boots and is with us to give insight, inspiration and advice on all your gardening problems.

Time: 12 for 12.30pm
Tickets: £34.50 including lunch and a glass of wine. £57.50 for a double ticket.
