The Bar

With its roaring log fire, the bar is the place to unwind at any time of day, from mid-morning coffee to a pre-dinner drink and canapés, while you peruse the menu and choose what you'd like for dinner. Later, sink into soft sofas or red leather armchairs, and end the day with a satisfied stomach and a restorative liqueur.

The hum of bees in the borders. The tinkle of ice in your long, cool drink. A good book under a shady umbrella. What a heavenly way to while away the afternoon. Enjoy coffee, drinks, salads and light lunches, proper afternoon teas, early evening sun-downers and all the time in the world, on our sunny terrace. Open on warm days throughout spring and early summer; with refreshments served from our restored Pavilion, it's the perfect hideaway.
